About
As a seasoned software developer, open-source advocate, and blockchain architect, I bring over 15 years of experience in developing innovative, community-driven solutions. I have contributed to The Open Source AI Definition v.1.0 as part of the OSI AI Working Group, serving as an AI License Definition Contributor. I remain committed to supporting the open-source community and will continue contributing wherever needed.
With a strong foundation in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud), blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Solidity, HyperLedger Indy, Sovrin, Smart Contract Standards), and development (PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, Java, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Linux, Apache, Nginx, AI/ML, LLM), I have led transformative projects for global organizations, including HSBC, Deloitte, Credit Suisse, and Eurostar.
As the Founder of zero2hero, a blockchain-powered EdTech platform, I have voluntarily organized over 200 free technology training events, fostering education in Web3, cloud computing, and decentralized technologies. My commitment to mentoring women in technology through women’s tech organizations reflects my dedication to inclusivity and empowerment within the open-source ecosystem.
Beyond technology, I find balance in scuba diving, snowboarding, golf, and mentorship. My diverse background allows me to bring a holistic, innovative, and community-driven perspective to the OSI Board.

What areas of the Board’s work do you see yourself contributing towards?
I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia, developers, and the industry. My goal is to contribute to OSI’s developer education, open-source training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring that developers, enterprises, and researchers better understand the value, ethics, and sustainability of open-source development.
To contribute to the Board, I aim to strengthen the collaboration between large tech corporations and the open-source community, encouraging them to embrace open-source principles, transparency, and ethical software development. Recognizing the rapid evolution of technology, I will advocate for the development and refinement of open-source licenses that meet future needs—ensuring security, sustainability, and human-centric approaches while preventing the misuse of technology.
As OSI has introduced AI License v.1.0, I plan to closely monitor industry expectations and, if needed, prepare for minor or major updates to the license. Additionally, I propose creating new open-source licenses for emerging technologies, such as Robotics & Autonomous System, Digital Identity & Cyber Security, Blockchain & Web3, Industry 4.0 & IoT, Quantum Computing, Extended Reality(AR, VR, metaverse) standards. These efforts will safeguard technological innovations while ensuring their alignment with ethical standards and public welfare.
Furthermore, I intend to facilitate stronger collaboration among pioneers in the tech industry. By organizing and participating in international events, focus groups, and working committees, I aim to raise awareness about the benefits of open-source development and its critical role in shaping global technology standards.
Through these actions, I am committed to contributing to a future where open source remains a driving force for innovation, inclusivity, and responsible technology use.
What goals do you hope to achieve for OSI and the world of open source by serving on the Board of Directors?
By serving on the OSI Board of Directors, I aim to drive open-source innovation, ethical governance, and industry-wide collaboration. My primary focus is on strengthening open-source licensing to address emerging challenges in AI, Robotics, Digital Identity, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Web3, Industry 4.0, IoT, Quantum Computing, and Extended Reality (AR, VR, Metaverse).
As technology evolves, open-source must remain adaptable, transparent, and aligned with ethical standards. I will contribute to refining existing licenses and developing new frameworks to ensure sustainability, security, and inclusivity in open-source ecosystems.
Beyond licensing, I seek to bridge the gap between large tech corporations, educational institutions, and the open-source community. Many enterprises rely on open-source software but do not actively contribute to its sustainability. I will work to encourage greater corporate participation, funding, and responsibility in open-source projects.
Additionally, I will promote open-source education and awareness in universities and industry, ensuring a broader and more diverse group of contributors.
Finally, I will advocate for open-source adoption in global technology standards, ensuring it remains a driving force for ethical and innovative development.
