New OLPC stable build

Business Week has written a series [1], [2], [3] of articles on the One Laptop Per Child project this week, and none are too favorable. I myself have blogged my disappointment with the apparent direction of the project. Yesterday they released Build 703, and before I say anything else negative, I have to see how well it fixes the glitches not unexpected with a Version 1.0 release. In particular, whether it makes more flash sites work for my daughter's browsing habits. I will do the upgrade this evening and report back when I have some data.

I followed the instructions (including the part about loading up the G1G1 Activity pack onto a USB thumb drive and unzipping the archive) and I had three XOs updated before dinner. Sweet!
